Couldn't have asked for a better weekend in Thailand. We were exposed to the biodiversity of the region we have been living in this past year on a whole other level. It is so important for us as human beings to understand where we live and the critters and flora we share it with. It gives us a sense of connectivity to it. We then belong there and are proud of what our own environment has to offer. In most places of the world, it has been engraved in the culture for thousands of years to the food they eat to the fibers that create garb they wear to the materials that build their homes.

back to the farm; i heart hua hin
After remaining in the city for over 2 months strait, I was eager to escape when I found out I had a 3-day weekend due to a Buddhist holiday on the up-come. We hopped on a train to Hua Hin, a little beach town just a few hours outside of Bangkok to absorb some sea breeze and nature. A friend from Bangkok has a family mango farm in the area and jumped at the opportunity to show us around from the beach town to her beloved country side.
